A new translation, directly from Tibetan into German,
of a prayer that is widespread in the Tibetan language
area. It has been described as "the king
of all prayers, the prayer seeking help for noble and
extraordinary behavior". Especially recently,
high-ranking Tibetan teachers have recommend to use this
prayer for daily practice.

The protagonist is a German doctor who was involved in

Tashi Namgyal's Mahamudra Handbook "Clarification
of the Natural Condition" - This text is an abridged
version of the wide-spread Mahamudra text by the same
author of which an English version appeared in 1986 under
the title "Mahamudra - the Quintessence of Mind and
Meditation" (published by Shambala Press).
